About Us
Hunsinger Ag Solutions sells spray drones and seed, backed by parts, repair, training, and contract spraying across multiple states.
The owner
Klaytin Hunsinger.
Klaytin grew up on a row-crop farm outside Rossville. He’s been flying drones over fields longer than the paperwork has been straightforward. He holds Part 107, Part 137, and both Illinois and Indiana pesticide applicator licenses. When he’s in the seat, the legal stack is clean.
The business started as a custom-spraying side project in 2023. The dealership side came later, after enough customers asked “where do I buy one of these” that it stopped being a hobby answer.
The seed side came in next. Klaytin runs Pro Harvest hybrids on his own corn and bean ground, and enough neighbors asked what he was planting that he picked up the dealership. Same approach as the drone side — direct pricing, per-field placement, in-season check-ins. No quota, no script.
The best fit is the operator who wants the equipment, wants someone to fly with them on day one, and wants a phone number that still works in August.
Why a dealer, not the manufacturer.
EAVision builds excellent drones. They are not built to answer a Saturday phone call from a guy in Tippecanoe County with a stuck pump. That’s the dealer’s job. That’s the part of this we take seriously.
Direct Manufacturer
A real local backstop.
If you buy direct from a manufacturer, you’re in a queue with operators in 12 other states. If you buy from us, your service request goes to one person who lives an hour from your field.
Contract Work
Hands on the actual airframe.
We don’t just resell. We fly these drones in contract work, every week, in real conditions. So when we tell you something will or won’t work on your ground, it’s because we’ve already tried it on ours.
Licensing
Paperwork & chem coverage.
FAA exemption filing, Part 137 paperwork, and IL and IN applicator licensing on the flights we run. Manufacturers don’t do this. Dealers do.
Part 107
FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot. The foundational license for commercial drone work in U.S. airspace.
Part 137
FAA Part 137 operator certificate, the authorization required to spray from the air. This is the regulatory class for agricultural aerial application.
IL · IN
State-issued aerial pesticide applicator licensure in both Illinois and Indiana. Renewed on cycle, no gaps.
